Greening dementia is a partnership project between Dementia Adventure, Natural England and the Woodland Trust. The purpose was to produce an evidence report into the benefits and barriers to engagement with the natural environment for those living with dementia and to develop project proposals to test a number of large scale interventions that improve access to the natural environment for those living with dementia. The evidence report has been published and is available for download here.
All three partners along with continuing stakeholder input are exploring ways of expanding this work. If you want to be part of what comes next for Greening Dementia do please get in touch.
