Why we need your support

Your support will help provide an alternative to traditional respite breaks. Throughout the last 20 years of working in dementia care we recognise the problem that people living with dementia are often isolated and kept indoors too much of the time, often with little or no real choices offered to them for meaningful activities. Your support will enable people with dementia to get outdoors, connect with nature, their loved one and their community and gain a sense of adventure in their lives. What’s more, there are the longer lasting benefits of improved wellbeing and resilience for the person living with dementia and their family carers.

Please watch this film to see how your support really makes a difference.
