Let’s unite for Dementia Awareness Week

As part of Dementia Awareness week during 14-20 May we have various members of the DA team out and about. Why not join us at one of these events?

On 15th May Dementia Adventure Project Leader, Debbie Anderson is hosting a Family Carers Seminar in central London from 11am - 2pm, the event is FREE. Book here. 

On 17th May, Dementia Adventure Project Leader, Kath Pyke will be speaking at the 'Making Space' event in Derby, and after she will be hosting a stand where she will be available to chat and ask any questions you may have.

On the 18th May Dementia Adventure, CEO, Neil Mapes will be speaking at the 'Social Prescribing: From Rhetoric to Reality Conference' at The Kings Fund in London. On the same day Head of Business Development and Innovation for Dementia Adventure Simon Thorp will be speaking at the Provide Clinical Conference in Chelmsford on 'How Dementia Adventure Works with Other Organisations to Support Integration'. He will be accompanied by our Volunteer Co-ordinator Hayley Mott and one of our volunteers Laura, who will be available to chat and answer questions.

On the 19th May, Lorraine Brown, who is part of our special interest group, and lives with dementia, is chairing a Dementia Action Alliance 'Ask the Expert' event in Medway, Kent.
