Dementia Adventure is delighted to have attended the 2017 People’s Postcode Lottery annual Charity Gala where it was announced that £66.3 million was awarded to charities and good causes in 2016 - thanks to players of People’s Postcode Lottery. We are one of 69 charities that benefitted from this incredible funding.
We have exciting opportunity for a paid intern to join the team at Dementia Adventure as a fundraising assistant. Could this be what you have been looking for?
In August, Dementia Adventure Communications Assistant, Jules Loveland, ran the Bear Grylls Survival Race, in Cambridge, to raise money to help underwrite the cost of our supported dementia holidays and short breaks. The race was a 5K obstacle race. Jules ran cross-country only stopping to complete obstacles such as scaling walls, carrying heavy objects, rope climbing, monkey bars and much more.
