Paul Hollick’s 900 mile walk from Lands End to John O’Groats, raising money for the Dementia Adventure Trust.
The London Borough of Redbridge and Vision RCL have just celebrated their first anniversary of dementia-friendly park walks at Valentines Park. Just over a year ago we delivered our Walk Leader Training to eight members of the Vision Redbridge Culture & Leisure team and we are delighted to say that their dementia-friendly park walks have been a resounding success.
Work with us? A special person required to join our team.
Dementia Adventure is an award winning innovative social enterprise with a growing team and ambitious plans for the future. Dementia Adventure is re-framing what it means to live well with dementia, connecting people living with dementia with nature and a sense of adventure. We provide training, research, and consultancy services - all with nature in mind. Income from these activities, donations and grant funding mean we can provide Dementia Adventures from park walks to sailing holidays, as an alternative to traditional models of respite.
We are looking for a very special person to join our team of project leaders, helping to expand our business and deliver training and consultancy work.
